This full-time contract position begins as soon as possible and extends through late November, wrapping up after Thanksgiving break. Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent)
- Active SLP license in Louisiana (CFs and SLPAs are encouraged to apply)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility preferred
- Prior school-based experience working with diverse elementary-age caseloads is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization abilities
- Dedication to fostering student learning and growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech, language, and communication therapy for elementary students onsite
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and monitor progress
- Engage in comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, special educators, and families
- Maintain clear records and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student success plans
