Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license is required
- Valid Georgia Educator Certificate
- Recent graduates eligible for Clinical Fellowship are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience with school-based settings and/or ASD/Severe classroom caseloads is highly valued
- Dedicated commitment to onsite work; virtual candidates will not be considered
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, tailoring intervention plans for those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other significant needs
- Thoroughly document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and communicate with staff and families to support student success
- Implement progress monitoring, data collection, and Medicaid billing processes as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to integrate communication goals into academic settings
- Maintain compliance with state and district policies for student care
Position Details:
- Located in Habersham, GA, serving students in a well-supported school community
- Full-time schedule up to 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility to consider part-time arrangements
- Assignment beginning as soon as possible and extending through the end of the current school year (with the possibility for renewal through the 2025–2026 academic year)
