- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Understanding of IEP documentation and familiarity with school-based services
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and effective communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs across elementary, middle, or high school grades
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Deliver both direct and consultative services, adapting strategies to meet each student’s tailored goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, family members, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain accurate records, contribute to IEP meetings, and participate in multidisciplinary problem-solving
