Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist! This rewarding role is designed for professionals who are passionate about making a difference with a manageable caseload and a flexible start date. You’ll be working approximately 15-18 hours per week within traditional school hours (7:30 AM – 3:00 PM), and your main focus will be on delivering impactful services to students in grades 9-12. The assignment is scheduled to begin in early September 2026 and continue through early June 2027—with flexibility on the actual start date.
Core Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current license or eligibility for Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Certification through ASHA (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Previous SLP experience in a school setting, particularly with high school-age students
- Solid understanding of group and individual therapy, IEP processes, and consultative services
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide both group and some individual direct therapy sessions for students
- Consult with staff and families to deliver comprehensive student support
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as part of the service team
- Write and progress monitor IEP goals for assigned caseload
- Maintain thorough records and comply with all district and state guidelines
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
