Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid SLP license in Texas, or eligibility for reciprocal licensure
- Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship (CF) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Comfortable conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and leading therapy sessions for a range of speech and language needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services, tracking progress and adjusting interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of required documentation
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and school staff to support student growth
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed
