Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of a variety of assessment tools and therapy techniques
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs tailored to individual student goals
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services for diverse caseloads
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
- Stay current with best practices, special education laws, and continuing education requirements
