Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention techniques
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students with a range of communication needs
  • Maintain regular contact and consultation with teachers, staff, and parents
  • Keep comprehensive records of progress, evaluations, and interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional guidance to education teams
  • Support a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
