School Speech Language Pathologist - San Elizario, TX

Requirements & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active SLP license in Texas (or willingness to obtain prior to assignment start)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable personality
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students individually or in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to student support plans
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and families about communication disorders
