Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for the state of Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility preferred
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that support educational goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide input on students’ communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to ethical and legal standards
