Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment start
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates will also be considered
- Prior experience supporting school-aged children or working within educational settings
- Proficient in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and documenting progress
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and support implementation within classrooms
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in group and individual settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing progress and collaborating on goals
- Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, therapy sessions, and student outcomes
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ communication needs
