Speech Language Pathologist in Napa, CA
An exciting opportunity awaits speech-language pathologists eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners. Multiple contract positions are available for dedicated SLPs to work onsite, supporting students in grades Pre-K through 5th. You’ll be part of a collaborative team focused on helping each child achieve their communication goals in a dynamic school environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but strong clinical skills with pediatric populations will be considered
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Comfortable working on-site and collaborating with educators, support staff, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students (Pre-K through 5th grade)
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain a manageable caseload, with a maximum of 55 students
- Provide direct services and consultation as needed
- Track student progress and document outcomes according to school and regulatory standards
- Coordinate with teachers and participate in IEP meetings
- Work the full school day, 7:45 a.m.–4:15 p.m., with a 7.75-hour workday and a 30-minute duty-free lunch break
