Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) to practice in California
- School-based SLP experience preferred but not required; new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy services and document student progress in accordance with state and local requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to support optimal student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development activities as needed
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to ethical and legal guidelines
