This full-time contract position begins August 14 and runs through June 7, with a caseload of 20-30 students, ages 3 to 4 years old, across five different school sites. Each workday is structured for seven hours, Monday through Friday, ensuring work-life balance while allowing you to see tangible progress in your students.
What You'll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active and current California SLP license or eligibility
- Clinical Fellowship candidates will be considered, though experienced SLPs are preferred
- Solid background in assessment and therapy with preschool children
- Strong collaboration skills to work within classroom and community settings
- Reliable transportation for daily travel to several community preschool sites
- Comfort providing therapy in group and individual settings within inclusive environments
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver assessment and direct therapy services for preschool-aged students
- Work within classroom settings, collaborating closely with teachers, aides, and families
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals tailored to each child
- Conduct ongoing data collection and progress monitoring
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and contribute to team meetings
- Foster communication skills that help young children succeed in inclusive, community-based classrooms
