School Speech Language Pathologist - Moreno Valley, California
Step into an impactful speech-language pathologist opportunity supporting elementary students in a dynamic school environment. This contract position is designed as a leave replacement, beginning January 4th with the potential to extend past the end of March. You’ll work on-site with a caseload of approximately 55 students, supporting both speech-only and resource students in one welcoming location near Moreno Valley, CA. Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, full-time at 35 hours per week, in an educational setting focused on student success and collaboration.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Demonstrated experience in schools, especially with elementary-aged students
- Excellent collaborative skills to work effectively with general and special education teams
- Experience managing diverse caseloads and tailoring interventions to a range of student needs
- Strong communication and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students with diverse communication needs
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate student records and progress documentation
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student growth
- Participate in relevant meetings, professional development, and team planning sessions
