Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a supportive educational setting near Monument, Colorado. Start making a difference right away in an Affective Needs Program, working closely with a small caseload of just five students. This full-time position, offering 40 hours per week, features extensive collaboration as you’ll partner with a team of four experienced paraprofessionals available directly in the classroom.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado SLP License
  • Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification
  • Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred
  • Familiarity with affective needs and/or behavioral programs is an asset
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
  • Work as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team to support a specialized classroom environment
  • Assess, document, and monitor student progress, adapting interventions as necessary
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
  • Provide direct student interventions while leveraging support from a dedicated team of paraprofessionals
