Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathology license for California
- Experience or strong interest in working in school settings
- Familiarity with IEP writing, student assessment, and goal setting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and caseloads as part of a contract assignment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as specified in IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
- Document sessions, progress, and maintain timely records in compliance with district requirements
- Provide input for IEP development and participate in team meetings as needed
- Float between campuses as required by the district to support varying student needs
On-site engagement allows for immediate connection with the school community while making a tangible difference in students’ educational journeys. The start date is anticipated for mid-October, with flexibility on end date due to coverage of a leave of absence.
