Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure as an SLP, or ability to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) required
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
- Strong skills in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Screen, assess, and diagnose speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to support a diverse pediatric caseload
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and legal standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Provide consultation and training to staff on communication strategies and interventions
