Requirements for success in this position:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience or familiarity working in K–5 school environments
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to a student-centered approach
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations to identify student speech and language needs
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to support academic and social success
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation and meeting state compliance standards
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing expertise to support student growth
