Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Minneapolis, MN
Step into a rewarding opportunity working in Early Childhood Special Education as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)! You’ll work alongside dedicated education professionals to support children with diverse communication needs, including those with multiple disabilities. Your expertise will play a key role in helping students reach their fullest potential during their formative years.
What You’ll Bring:
- Current, active Minnesota SLP license and professional certification (CCC highly preferred)
- Background in school-based Speech-Language Pathology, especially in early childhood environments
- Experience supporting students with multiple disabilities (preferred)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for children with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Design and execute individualized intervention plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
- Document therapy progress and maintain compliance records as required by state and district standards
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all children
