Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Speech-Language Pathology license for Minnesota (SLP-CCC preferred)
- Prior experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Background in working with children who have multiple disabilities is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication services to early childhood students in special education
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's needs
- Complete evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress reports in accordance with compliance timelines
- Consult with teachers, aides, and family members to ensure consistent strategies and maximize student progress
- Utilize evidence-based practices and adapt techniques for students with diverse abilities
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise on communication development
