You’ll work onsite for 37.5 hours per week: four days will focus on providing speech-language services for students with mild to moderate disabilities at two elementary schools, while one day per week is dedicated to assisting students districtwide with varying needs. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing academic and social outcomes for a diverse group of learners.

Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota SLP license required
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of supporting mild to moderate disabilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Comfortable working across different school environments and adapting to diverse caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and deliver therapy for students with communication challenges
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with district policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to interdisciplinary teams
  • Support districtwide needs for a full day each week, addressing a broader range of disabilities
