Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy services to students with communication needs
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate regularly with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the multi-disciplinary team
- Engage in ongoing professional development, keeping practices current and evidence-based
- Offer consultative support and in-class strategies to facilitate student growth
