Key Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in K-12 school settings, preferably at the middle school level
- Ability to supervise and collaborate with Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Minnesota SLP licensure or ability to secure prior to start date
Responsibilities:
- Oversee speech-language services for two middle schools, ensuring compliance with IEPs and school policies
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students as needed
- Supervise an SLPA, offering guidance and support as they deliver the majority of the direct services
- Complete assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
