School Speech Language Pathologist - Eden Prairie, MN

As the primary SLP on-site, you’ll engage directly with students, collaborate with colleagues, and help oversee a dedicated SLPA who will implement many direct services. This is an excellent position for a professional who values mentorship, teamwork, and the impact that effective communication support can provide to middle schoolers.
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as an SLP
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting, preferably at the middle school level
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise and support SLPAs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal strengths
- Commitment to evidence-based and student-centered therapy practices
Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing assessment, intervention, and consultative services to middle school students
- Oversee, mentor, and support an SLPA responsible for implementing most direct therapy
- Maintain required documentation and manage case files in compliance with district expectations
- Work closely with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized plans
