Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a short-term, full-time assignment supporting a middle school caseload in the White Bear Lake, MN area. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively within a supportive school environment alongside another SLP provider.
Schedule
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Days: Monday–Friday
- Weekly Hours: 40
Caseload
- Age Group: Middle School
- Caseload Size: Approximately 24 students
- All students utilize some form of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
- Support student communication needs using AAC systems and strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and related service providers
- Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation
Qualifications
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Minnesota
- Experience or familiarity with AAC systems preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- School-based experience preferred
