Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Virginia
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year candidates (SLP-CFY), or strong pediatric experience considered
- Background working within school settings or with pediatric populations
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive educational environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapies tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support students’ IEPs and communication goals
- Monitor and report progress, updating therapy approaches as needed
- Participate in meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities
- Offer guidance and advocacy for students’ speech-language needs within the school framework
