What You’ll Bring:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license and Professional Educator License (PEL) ready to go
- Previous experience working within a school setting, preferably with high school-aged students
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Commitment to fostering growth, inclusion, and academic success for a diverse group of learners
- Ability to split your time between two buildings and manage a dynamic caseload effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to high school students as outlined by their IEPs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine individual needs
- Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure coordinated care and support
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights and recommendations for student success
- Maintain compliance with all record-keeping and reporting requirements
