School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Cicero, Illinois

The Monday through Friday schedule allows you to develop meaningful relationships with students and collaborate with dedicated faculty. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and current Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience in a school-based setting, ideally working with high school-aged students
- Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills for navigating between two buildings
- Outstanding communication skills to foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide speech and language therapy for students in grades 9-12
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to support student learning and development
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and share progress updates with families and educational teams
