In this long-term substitute role, you'll work Monday through Friday, 8:35 am to 3:00 pm, from late February to mid-April, delivering direct services to PreK through 1st grade students, including those utilizing AAC devices. Grow your skill set by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, learning from diverse instructional and leadership approaches, and supporting young learners at a pivotal stage in their development.
Qualifications:
- Active or eligible state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- CCC-SLP credential, SLP-CFY, or demonstrated experience in pediatric settings
- School-based SLP background preferred
- Experience supporting students with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment and intervention for PreK-1st grade students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to foster student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and communication with families and team members
