Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- State licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Experience with preschool or early intervention populations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both children and adults
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
- Capable of working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for young children to determine speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions in accordance with IEP requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to create holistic intervention strategies
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust plans as needed
- Contribute to team meetings and IEP reviews
- Provide guidance and support to caregivers and staff on best practices for language development
