Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain it
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school-based environment—ESY experience is advantageous
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy for students participating in ESY programs
- Assess, plan, and deliver individualized treatment plans targeting a variety of communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure seamless integration of therapy into students’ routine
- Monitor and document student progress, preparing comprehensive reports for families and educational teams
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing professional insights and progress updates
- Support students in reaching their fullest potential by fostering self-expression and communication skills
