Key Skills & Experience:
- Current or in-progress Speech-Language Pathology license required (SLP-CCC or eligible CFY candidates encouraged to apply)
- Experience in school-based settings, especially with K-7 age groups
- Comfort working in a self-contained classroom model
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, flexibility, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in a self-contained classroom
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs, including articulation, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Integrate AAC devices and technology into therapy and daily classroom routines as appropriate
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other service providers to support student progress
- Maintain timely documentation aligned with school and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and ongoing professional growth opportunities
This contract position features a stable schedule of 30 hours per week, ideal for professionals wishing to balance meaningful work with other commitments.
