Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Demonstrated experience working with students with autism and varied communication abilities is highly desirable
- Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to design and implement effective IEPs tailored to student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders among Pre-K to 5th-grade students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and contribute to IEP development
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, tracking student progress
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student achievement
- Advise on strategies, interventions, and classroom accommodations to promote language development
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
