Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Falling Waters, WV

Required Skills & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Strong pediatric experience, ideally in a school-based setting
- Knowledge of IEP practices and developing individualized goals
- SLPA and SLP candidates both considered with preference for hands-on experience
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Evaluate, diagnose, and create tailored treatment plans
- Maintain detailed and accurate student records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in student evaluations, IEP meetings, and case conferences
- Educate staff and families on communication strategies and speech/language development
- Work closely with teams to facilitate student success in academic and social settings
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
