Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in West Virginia
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
- Open to both SLPs and highly qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) with school-based experience
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language evaluations, therapy, and support for students across grade levels for the full 2026-2027 school year
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support a collaborative learning environment
- Keep accurate records, documentation, and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and activities that foster a positive educational atmosphere
