Speech Language Pathologist in Martinez, CA

This contract position offers a hybrid per diem opportunity for the 2026/2027 school year, designed for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist with ASHA CCC certification. You'll work with select students on-site near Martinez, CA, delivering direct therapy, while completing essential documentation—such as IEP meetings, progress reports, and related paperwork—remotely from your preferred workspace.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Proven experience in school-based settings preferred
- Teletherapy background is a plus, including conducting virtual IEP meetings and progress evaluations
- Strong documentation and case management skills
- Tech-savvy, comfortable with digital platforms for virtual meetings and reporting
- Adaptable, organized, and able to balance multiple caseload demands
- Positive communicator, eager to collaborate with education teams and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy in person to assigned students, following individualized education plans
- Conduct virtual meetings for IEPs, parent consultations, and consultations with staff
- Complete progress reports and maintain all required online documentation efficiently and accurately
- Support student growth and success through evidence-based interventions
- Liaise with teachers and school staff to coordinate student services and monitor progress
- Uphold ethical and professional standards, remaining compliant with state and district policies
