Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience providing speech and language services within a school setting is highly valued
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop creative, individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs using formal and informal assessment tools
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned caseload
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual or group sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support each student’s progress and ensure an inclusive learning environment
- Document services, maintain accurate student records, and complete required reports in compliance with regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
- Educate and support school staff and families on strategies to promote student success
