Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adjust therapy methods to meet students’ needs
- CCC-SLP preferred; CFYs considered if ready for a fast-paced school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with various speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative speech services to students at assigned campuses, including partnering with another school as needed
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer guidance and support to other school staff regarding communication strategies in the classroom
As part of this vital assignment, you’ll work across primary, elementary, and middle school settings, including urgent placements to address increased student needs.
