Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid license or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP
- Prior experience in a school-based SLP role is highly preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in need, covering multiple school sites
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ communication deficits and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
- Monitor student progress & adjust interventions as necessary
- Consult with educational staff and caregivers to support students’ success
- Travel between school locations, including Brandon Primary, Russell Middle, and Heritage Elementary (paired with another school)
