Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid license or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP
  • Prior experience in a school-based SLP role is highly preferred
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in need, covering multiple school sites
  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ communication deficits and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Monitor student progress & adjust interventions as necessary
  • Consult with educational staff and caregivers to support students’ success
  • Travel between school locations, including Brandon Primary, Russell Middle, and Heritage Elementary (paired with another school)
