This contract opportunity for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year places you in a dynamic educational environment supporting students’ communication needs. You’ll collaborate with dedicated staff across two welcoming districts, working 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) certification required
- Experience working with school-age populations strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel between two district locations as needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of needs
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine eligibility for services
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Offer in-service training for school staff on strategies and awareness
