Step into an impactful role supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 26/27 school year. In this position, you'll provide essential speech and language services across two districts, helping students gain the skills they need to thrive academically and socially.
As a valued team member, you'll work 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, collaborating with educators, families, and other specialized professionals to deliver individualized support. Your expertise will directly contribute to the development and implementation of student IEPs, ongoing assessments, and intervention planning in a dynamic school environment.
Qualifications:
- Current Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) certification
- Previous experience in school-based speech services is ideal
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop IEPs and provide therapy in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Maintain accurate and timely student documentation and records
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
- Deliver services across two districts, adapting your strategies to diverse student populations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall well-being of the school community
