Your expertise will support early intervention and communication development for young learners within an ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in a school-based SLP setting, particularly with early childhood populations
- Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and compliant documentation practices
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver speech/language services
- Enthusiasm for supporting the communication needs of preschool-aged children
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services for students aged 3-5 in compliance with IEPs/IFSPs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized plans to address communication needs
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required paperwork
- Participate actively in team meetings, multidisciplinary discussions, and parent conferences
- Deliver evidence-based therapy and support classroom staff in implementation strategies
- Foster positive, supportive relationships with young children and their families
Additional Details:
- Contract dates: approx. 8/25/2026 – 6/10/2027
- Full-time hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Caseload focused on ECSE (ages 3-5)
- Candidate presentation requires submission of MN SLP license and current resume
