School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Saint Paul, Minnesota
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students with speech and language needs for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year! This full-time contract position is based near Saint Paul, MN, providing vital speech-language pathology services across a variety of school environments within the area.
Your assignment will begin at a local elementary school, initially covering a maternity leave until Thanksgiving break. Afterward, responsibilities will transition to other buildings as needed, allowing you to provide essential services where your skills are most needed. If there are no additional leaves, you’ll work directly with students requiring compensatory services due to missed therapy earlier in the year.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Minnesota School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Adaptable and comfortable working with diverse caseloads and across multiple school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students individually and in group settings
- Complete assessments, develop individualized education program (IEP) goals, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure effective interventions
- Provide flexibility by covering leaves and compensatory services district-wide
- Maintain timely documentation and participate in student support meetings
