This extended school year (2026/2027) position provides the perfect platform to develop versatility and adaptability. You’ll initially lend your expertise at Justice Alan Page Elementary to cover a vital maternity leave. Once the primary SLP returns, you’ll transition to supporting other buildings as needs arise, or deliver compensatory services to students—ensuring continuity of care for those who missed sessions previously.

Key qualifications:

  • Active MN School SLP License (CCC required)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience, preferably working with K-12 students
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing assignments and environments
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy and intervention services
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student success
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver compensatory services when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance with district/state requirements
