School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Andover, Minnesota
Embark on a dynamic contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, serving students for the entire 2026/2027 school year. This role offers a unique blend of experiences, beginning with full-time support at a thriving elementary campus to cover a maternity leave, and then transitioning to other assignments as needed across various school environments.
As a valued professional in this position, your initial assignment will be at Justice Alan Page Elementary, working 37.5 hours each week. Following the conclusion of the maternity leave (anticipated return by Thanksgiving break), you’ll bring your expertise to other buildings, providing flexible support for additional leaves that may arise. If no further leaves occur, you'll have the important responsibility to administer compensatory services for students who missed speech and language interventions earlier in the year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid MN School SLP License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Strong experience working within school settings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working across different campuses
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students from diverse backgrounds
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student development
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of progress and services
- Provide compensatory services as needed in response to staffing changes
