Speech Language Pathologist in Hartselle, AL

Both full-time positions support students from PreK to 8th grade, with one role offering the unique chance to work with some junior high and high school students as well. You’ll be part of a collaborative school environment, providing interventions and support that truly matter.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) for practice in Alabama
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of varying ages and therapy needs
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and staff
- Willingness to support PreK through high school-aged learners
- SLPAs will not be considered for these roles
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services within classrooms and individualized settings
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records, evaluations, and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals and progress
- Adapt therapy techniques and materials to fit each student’s developmental level
