Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Huntsville, AL

Your expertise will be valued as you collaborate with educators and families, providing specialized interventions within a supportive school environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated SLP who holds their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and is passionate about school-based speech therapy.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience in pediatric or K-12 speech-language therapy, preferably within a school setting
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Proficiency in evidence-based assessment and intervention methods
- Teletherapy experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-5 students
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Monitor and document student progress in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Support students in achieving their communication and academic goals
