School Speech Language Pathologist - Maple Grove, Minnesota
Advance your career as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist providing vital support to students during the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity offers positions across multiple schools with a supportive environment, welcoming new graduates with Clinical Fellow (CF) status as well as experienced SLPs.
Positions are available at the following locations:
- Northdale Middle School – 0.4 FTE
- Hamilton Elementary School – 0.5 FTE
- Mississippi Elementary School – 0.7 FTE
- Rum River – 0.3 FTE
Assignments begin approximately August 25, 2026 (students return September 8), and conclude June 10, 2027. Schedule consists of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with caseloads based on FTE outlined above. Emphasis is placed on delivering high-quality speech and language services to students, collaborating with educators, and fostering communication growth.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Minnesota SLP license with dual certification clearly visible (required at submission)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows welcomed
- Previous school-based experience beneficial, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions as outlined in student IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech/language and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Attend IEP meetings and participate in multidisciplinary teams
