Qualifications:
- Valid and active California SLP License (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility, or SLPA credential accepted
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates and SLPAs will be considered
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with varying speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the school’s multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in accordance with educational and legal guidelines
