A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about enhancing communication skills in children. This unique role provides services to private school students and homeschoolers who attend a local elementary campus for speech therapy in a supportive, flexible environment.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Texas SLP license (CCC or CFY candidates welcome)
- Experience with school-based speech therapy or pediatric clients
- Strong knowledge of articulation therapy and individualized education planning
- Ability to work independently and manage varied student caseloads
Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret students’ speech goals
- Develop engaging, targeted lesson plans based on individual needs
- Deliver direct speech therapy—either one-on-one or in small groups (mostly articulation-focused)
- Provide services primarily on scheduled Wednesdays (flexibility possible), from early August through early June
- Document student progress and maintain thorough, accurate records
- collaborate with families and educational staff as needed to support student progress
