Essential Qualifications:
- Possession of a current New York State SLP license
- NY Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in a variety of educational settings
- Maintain and manage individualized caseloads across different program sites
- Develop and implement targeted treatment plans to address students’ unique communication needs
- Conduct assessments, gather data, and contribute to IEP meetings as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Consult with educators and families to promote student success and generalization of therapy goals
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state, federal, and district requirements
